- 2 pears
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon of date syrup
- 50ml of water
- 50g of oats
- 50g ground almonds
- Handful of chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Chop the pears
Put in a saucepan and add the spices, date syrup and water. Cook through until softened. Put in a small ceramic oven dish.
Melt the coconut oil and maple syrup.
Pour over the oats, almonds and nuts. Stir through.
Put the crumble topping over the fruit. Put in the oven and bake for 30 minutes until golden and crisp.
Serve with dairy free, refined sugar free ice cream or coconut yoghurt.
